Started trying out the wraps lately. They have been pretty good, and sizeable. Service was solid as usual also. The only issue i have had was the Miss Vickies Chips being replaced with a different brand of chips they aren't that good. Overall good wraps to try out.
I have wanted to try Metro Diner for years and actually have tried 3 other times but they were closed when I got there. Today, that changed. I had no idea what to expect but didn't see a menu when I came in. I informed those behind the counter that I'd never been there before and was not doted on even though they were not busy. However, the young man behind the counter said their chicken salad sub was very popular so I ordered it and proceeded down to pay. Again, the man taking money was a bit curt when I asked if they had chips or anything. (I didn't see them). He took the money and pointed towards the drink machine. Soon, my sandwich arrived. It came with lettuce, tomato, red onion. I didn't want the banana peppers on it. The taste of the chicken salad was probably the best I've ever had! I ate the entire sandwich which is very unusual for me. Their own line of chips were very crunchy and flavorful. The coke was a good mix. Despite not being as welcomed as I had hoped, that's in me. The food was solid and I will return!
They might be a bit pricey but they are online with other places downtown. The staff is so nice and always polite. The food is really good, my go to is a Reuben, sooo good. The inside is quirky and definitely gives deli
I absolutely LOVE Metro Deli! It is the number one place in Tallahassee I take family and friends for lunch when they come to town. The staff is very friendly and the environment is classic deli, which is unbeatable in my eyes. I always build my own sandwich and it never fails to taste great. I recommend the toasted rye bread, it's amazing!

Great sandwiches with an old world ambiance that I have experienced in Italy. This place reminds me of the Mom and Pop Deli of NYC as well and we always enjoy coming here and will return soon.
A little piece of New York in downtown Tallahassee. This place is a gem. Everything I tried was great. The Greek salad dressing was the star of the Greek salad. For the first time in my life, I wished there was more green salad. I also tried the Cubano sandwich. Their version was good. The meat was a little dry but still really good. Get a cookie it is worth it. There is virtually no wait time from when you order to when they wrap it up for you. It is a well-oiled machine. I will make this my spot whenever in town. Seating is not as limited as you would think.
Staying at the Doubletree downtown and the Metro Deli is on the corner of the building. Ordered the daily special. A grilled smokehouse w bacon and peppers sandwich, tomato bisque soup, drink, and chips. Very decent pricing for a lot of food. It was very good. Very good packaging as well. Lots of friendly staff. Fast service despite a lot of people ordering and picking up food.
